The World Bodypainting Festival annually takes place at the
Wörthersee in Pörtschach, Austria. The World Campionship in bodypaint
arts is an integrated part of the festival and attracts the best artists in
this discipline to participate. The 16th festival took place from 1-7 July, 2013
and I had the opportunity to join it as a photographer.

At Work
The most amazing part of the whole festival was the opportunity to watch the artists at their work.
Take look at the painters and their models in the early morning and compare it to the final results
in the evening. They must not start earlier than 10:30 in the morning and have to finish their work
at 5:30 PM. At 4 PM you can feel the hectic of the artists making the last optimations to finish
the perfect work. Really exciting!

Show-Time
The festival provided a lot of additional art categories like the UV Award, Facepaint Award and
Show Award. Take a look at this additional awards and show sessions too.
