Jazz Festival Saalfelden 2013

The 34. Jazz Festival in the small Austrian town Saalfelden is one of the cultural highlights in the European Jazz community. Starting more than thirty years ago (May, 19th, 1978) at a small campsite outside of the town, it has grown to an well established festival gathering some of the most interesting bands all over the continent. This year, the festival brings a really ambitioned program providing lots of big bands, most of them being the first time in Austria. It’s a great opportunity to expand the musical horizon, even for Jazz experts and those, who want to become one.
